Yellowstone pictures.......

We had a wonderful time in Yellowstone. It was the first time Andy and I have been on a trip alone, and we have been together for 10 years. So it was great to get away. We were able to focus on each other, and not worry about the kids.

Andy's Grandpa has a timshare condo, and we stayed in Island Park Idaho. It is just about 30 min away from West Yellowstone. Andy's brother Toad, (Anthany) also came with us. We saw so many sights in the week that we were there. Andy bought me a new camera for the trip....Yippie! Now I just need to get some updated pictures of Rhett, I swear he grew two feet while we were gone! I hope you enjoy the photos....

Not your normal every day traffic jam huh?!?!

What trip to Yellowstone isn't complete without visiting Old Faithful?

This is at the Painted Pots...

Dang it no molesting animals for me! Honestly, what does that mean???

Here is Andy about 15 feet away from some 2 or 3 year old grizzly bears, that we saw just off the road in Yellowstone. Note: All of the signs tell you to stay at least 100 yards away.....I was in the car with the windows rolled up! Now who is the smart one?!?!?

This was at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone. We got to see some really big Grizzly's, there was a fence between us, so I got a little closer this time!

Here are some pictures of some Bull Elk that we found. They are already starting to grow their antlers back, so they are in the velvet. Come August they are going to be HUGE bulls!

Here we are at Mammoth Hot Springs inside Yellowstone....

This is at Mesa Falls Idaho, I absoutley love waterfalls!

Here I am at Earthquake lake. This lake was created by an Earhtquake back in the 1950's....

Here we are at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. This was an incredible sight....

This is in Virgina City, Montana. They filmed Return to Lonesome Dove here, as well as a few other movies. Andy was excited to see this. He is a big Robert Duvall fan.

Here is Andy grabbing my butt, as you can see Grandpa got a kick out of it.
