Some Thoughts......

Thank you so much for all of the support as we face this trial in our lives right now. Many have emailed me asking how they can help, and honestly, just the prayers alone are making us feel so much better, and at peace that this mess will all work out.

We more than likely are going to have to move again, there is just no way that our landlord will let us be late on rent again.

We have talked with Dakota's therapists and they have given us some additional resources as well, and may even be able to get us on some additional housing options where Rhett is considered technology dependent.

I have had alot of mixed emotions with getting assistance from the state. It is just really....I don't know.....humbling that we are finding ourselves in this type of a situation. We have always been able to provide for our family up until the last year and a half. I don't like that we have to rely on other people, but at the same time I am so thankful for the help that is available.

Anyways, I have had many people email us wanting to know if there was a way that they could help with some small monetary donations. I have really debated on this, and thought about it, and debated again, and I have decided that if it's one thing that Rhett has taught me, it's that when you get knocked down, you get a little help, get back up onto your feet and try again.

So with a bit of reluctance I am adding a donate button to the top of the site. Remember, even if you can only donate $5.00, that is $5.00 more than we had at the beginning of the day. If you can only offer prayers of support, well, that means more to us than you can ever imagine.

Also, if you don't have a Pay Pal account just click on the link at the bottom of the page for other ways to donate.

If anyone in the area can get together on a Saturday to help me pack up our house that would be great too. (As long as you can stand Guitar Hero, because that's about all that Andy can do....) Go ahead and Email me, and I will let you know when we get a date set. I also could use help in getting boxes too.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. We will forever be paying it forward.

Hi Pam I just left a little donation. I wish I could do more but I know every little bit does help. When we lost our litte baby we had alot of help from people and it helped more than words can say. It is my turn to pay it forward now. Your family is in our prayers.

I know exactly how you feel...really, I do. Pete and I have always been able to pay for all that we needed but when Gus' stuff came up we had the rug pulled out from under us and had to depend on people like never before...and it was hard. I pray that one day God will give us piles of money so we can share it with others...

I wish I were close by so I could help you with the packing...I could bring my boys because all they ever do is play Guitar Hero! lol!

I'm so sorry you all have to go through this. I've left you a very small donation - all I can manage at the moment - but if enough of us do a tiny bit it grows into a much bigger bit.
Keeping you in my heart.

Hi, you don't know me, I'm a friend of Brynn. I have been checking in on your blog, and my heart aches for you. I would love to help you out. I have thought and thought about how I can do this, and this is what I have come up with... I'm a Mary Kay consultant. If you would like to post on your blog, if you have some friends that order, I will donate ALL of my profit to you. I hope you don't think this is a sales pitch, it is the way I can help. If enough people see it, it could mean a lot of money.... If this is something you want to do, e-mail me at kamic_77@yahoo.com.
We will also be praying for you!

Hi from across the Atlantic Ocean...! I have visited here a couple times before. We have a little 5 year old boy who has DS, Thomas. Your little guy looks completely adorable! Your pain breaks my heart, life just seems so unfair sometimes. I wish there was something more I could do to help...and it's not much but I've left you a small gift. Let's hope you get a lot of response and that your situation is helped as a result. Hugs and prayers
