We see the Surgeon Tomorrow......

We thought we wouldn't get in until April, but a visit to the Primary Care Doc, where Andy couldn't sit because he was hurting so bad, and the fact that he is officially gray, and sick to his stomach with pain, and Andy goes in tomorrow at 9:30 am.

Please say a prayer that this can be done soon, and that he is home recovering soon. I am getting really anxious about everything that is going on. I am feeling like I am going to be doing alot of Rhett's procedures on my own because Andy won't be able to be there, and then I don't know who is going to take care of him while I am gone with Rhett, and then there is the issues with my other kids. I just don't know what to do.

Good luck with everything tomorrow. I know that IF you have to do things for Rhett by yourself you will do great...you will have lots of support and prayers. Kaden has a fundo, he got that when he was about 4months old. It did come loose once or twice and have to be redone, but it seems to help him. The only bad thing is that I feel horrible for him when he has a stomach bug because he is not able to vomit (nice picture, huh?). It sounds like it will do lots of good for Rhett as well. I pray that it does. I've read that you all are going through a lot right now...I just want you to know that my thoughts and prayers continue to be with you all. Take care and again, good luck tomorrow. Amy

Wow. I will be praying for you all. I hope everything goes well. I will pray you have energy to do what you need to do for Rhett and the strength to ask for help if you need too. Hugs.

I'll back up the comment by Kaden's mom! Nothing is worse than your childs body wanting to vomit when it can't. But, I would rather see that then what the reflux is doing! Even more for Lily since she doesn't have a real esophagus!
Tell Andy he's in our prayers! You could give him a dish at a time to dry or he could take up mending if he's feeling left out!

Well, the good news is that some kids *can* vomit even with a Nissen. TRUST ME ON THIS...ugh!

I'm keeping you all in my prayers and hope the visit to the surgeon gives you news you want!
