28 Months and ~~WALKING~~ in all his Glory......
And you just know that he did it because the Neurologist told me last week not to expect it for another 6 to 8 months. That's just one of the many things I love about this kid, he just has to prove everyone wrong.
Considering last year at this very moment he was on a ventilator fighting for his life, this is absoutley nothing short of a miracle. I seriously am the luckiest mommy on earth!!!

You show 'em, Rhett!

Crying tears of joy for you here. I remember the first time Nik started walking...just this August, at 44 months (3y 8m). No greater feeling in the world!
Congratulations...and make sure you keep your running shoes handy to keep up with him now!

Hi Pam:
You don't know me. We have never met, however, I am friends with Brynn Homer. I hope I don't seem like a blog stalker, but your story has intrigued me. Watching the video of Little Rhett in his big milestone just makes me smile. He is adorable. What a special little guy! I hope things get better for your family. YOu are all in my prayers.
How wonderful! I LOVE the video - watching him walk is just AMAZING! He just melts my heart!

AWSOME PAM!! Crying happy tears WTG Rhett!!!
What happened to that baby that was falling on his face before Christmas?? He is so beautiful! I'm right here with everyone else crying happy tears.
Rhett - you go prove 'em all so wrong that they'll have to eat big huge plates full of crow!
Love to you all.
Way to go Rhett!!! He looks sooo big. You guys are doing a great job!
Wonderful! He does walk very well. I think it is weird for kids when tey suddenly see a parent having to stay in bed all the time. I know this was really hard for M after my surgery. Looks like Rhett is taking it in stride. I must have missed a treatment for his cheeks. I am sorry but I don't remember what he is needing for his little cheeks. I hope it is not painful. I found myself saying, "OOOps!" really loud when he fell. Too cute.
Beautiful, beautiful video! He is such a strong little person - and obviously determined!
GO RHETT!!!
