Sorry about my crazy post, I am seriously just at my witt's end here. I know I shouldn't stoop to other's levels but I have had the worst week, and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.
I know went way overboard, and I apologize for that. There was a better way of stating the comment though, such as maybe "The income limit is 56,800 for CHIP, I really don't consider that as poor, but have you looked into CHIP rather than Medicaid?" Things can be misread over the internet, and trust me I have had super crazy comments left over time, but this one just struck me at the wrong time. I do apologize for name calling, it was wrong, however we all do stupid things when angry. You have got to understand that I am just so sick of having to explain our situation to everyone, it's so in depth, and there is so much to it, and nobody gets it. Especially DSPD, Workforce Services, SSI, everyone. People are so quick to judge.
We cannot drop down hours Andy has to sit there and watch cars do nothing all day because BB isn't exactly the best dealership to work for.
Anyways, I dunno about everything. I think it's gonna get better then it doesn't. For every good day we have 2 bad days lately.
I am off to go sit in the parking lot at Sportsman's Wearhouse in Provo for the day with Hunter, Chloee, and Rhett and try to sell these stupid dogs. This should be interesting.

Your response to the anonymous commentor was perfectly appropriate, and I'm just so sorry he/she made you so angry.
I wishwishwish there was more we could all do to help you. What size clothing is everyone wearing these days? I just cleaned out the kids closets, and I have a few little-boy things (not too much this year, Micah got most of Sam's stuff).

You're not crazy... you're right. This is your blog & you shouldn't have to deal with rude comments at all, especially when it obvious that you're going through a very stressful time right now.
I agree that having to explain the situation gets to the point of ridiculous... there's so much going on that it's impossible to give a 2-minute summary and people get the wrong impression if you aren't able to explain *everything*, so you wind up feeling frustrated & completely alone. It really does suck rocks. ((((( HUGS )))))
For whatever it's worth, you're not alone & there are a lot of online people who care about you & your family and are praying for God's blessings to be poured out upon you.
I missed the blow up, bummer. As someone whose had to go from a $50k job to a $30k job with medicaid to not go broke I wish people would "get it"

I did "get it." I was talking about exactly what you just said - that going to a job just under $56,800 can qualify a family of six for CHIP (which is a form of Medicaid). So, as you said, a job of $30K or one lower or higher than that up to the $56K figure for that sized family will get you in the Medicaid (in the form of CHIP, in this case) door. She might have meant something other than CHIP when she originally used the word Medicaid, thus maybe there was a misunderstanding.
How about everybody not being so quick to look for trouble. Maybe no one was being rude, at least not meaning to, but was trying to help by suggesting health care that can be obtained at an income level that is not as low as that needed for something like SSI. I'm glad that there is insurance for Rhett, that should be what matters most.
