31 for 21....

I don't have a whole lot of energy to type right now, as many of you know I have been very sick the last few days, and just came from the Dr. with a diagnosis of pneumonia, and strep to boot.

I won't bore you with my whines, but I just wanted to share my Down syndrome thought for the day.

After going to the Dr.'s office with Rhett, I realized how many people love him. Everyone in this Dr's office has fought along with us, and done so much for us through this journey. The PA that works there, always tells Rhett that he loves him when he comes in the room. The NP, is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met, and always goes out of her way to say hello to Rhett. And our PC Dr. is just amazing. He always listens to me and goes along with my gut instinct when it comes to Rhett.

Everyone in that office gets a huge smile on their face when Rhett walks into the waiting room. Every staff member has to make sure they come and say hi to him, and tell him how cute he is.

We are so blessed to have these people working along with us, and I know that they have been forever touched by our amazing little boy. An extra chromosome is an AWESOME thing.

Now I am off to bed with my cough syrup with coedine in hand, as well as some Advil. Hopefully I can get some rest. Dosen't anyone realize that I don't have time to be sick?

Pam, you have to do whatever you can to get some rest. Pneumonia is just nothing to play around with. Please take care of yourself. I will be praying for you to have a speedy recovery. If I lived closer, I would be there in a heartbeat!!

Love,

Kaci

Take care of yourself! Of course, we moms are always last on the list huh. It takes getting strep and pneumonia before we just STOP.

Hope you are on the mend soon. Snuggle up in bed and sleep. Praying for a speedy recovery.

my poor poor friend... I'm so sorry you're sick! It sucks :c(
I'm really praying that you get lots of support and friends rallying round so you can just concentrate on getting completely better and get the rest you need. Don't be afraid or ashamed to ask for help! It's of paramount importance that you stay in bed as much as you can, and get plenty of rest.
As for Rhett, I totally know what you mean, as Tom has exactly that effect on people. He simply lights up a room when he walks into it! And everyone he meets falls in love with him! I agree with you, it's SUCH a blessing having him in our lives...he makes life more fun, more worthwhile, more meaningful somehow! (I'm not saying my other kids don't, but there's something more with Tom...) He is the most extraordinary child; and so is your GORGEOUS Rhett :c)

Now GET SOME REST!!!
All my love and (((((hugs)))))

Rhett might be an amazing little boy but I think that he has an amazing mommy too!
