Catch Up On Photos.....

So my beautiful friend M, I will call her that lest she doesn't want me to blab about it, but I have to since she is sooooo sweet......

Anyhow, M knows how important pictures are. She has been through more than you could ever imagine, and now that their lives have taken a certain turn of events, she is so happy that she has a bunch of photos to look back on. When M found out that my camera had an unfortunate event in the parking lot of ABC 4 studios, she knew how much I cherished taking photos. Bless her heart, by the end of the week had a new camera sitting in my hands.

When I opened the box I just bawled. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends who care about me so much, and who understand how important these types of things can be.

So I promised her lots of pictures.

The first set of pictures are from the day that my camera died, I finally got them off of my memory card...thank heavens I wasn't taking them on the camera...

Rhett lovin on his "Ohwee"

Drinking some of his "pudding/chocolate milk" (It's pudding consistency so he doesn't aspirate)...Eeew eeew, **shudder**.

The ladies at Good Things Utah. (Rhett hijacked their pen and wrote all over their notes...)

Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band...

Then today we made Gingerbread Houses. We do it every year about 2-3 weeks before Christmas with the kids. This year was fun. I didn't have to help Chloee with hers at all she did it all on her own.

Mine......Isn't it all cute and snowy and Christmasy?

Dakota's House.....He did a really good job this year!!

Hunter's House.....His has some explaining to do. See Hunter is ALL boy. He is into all boy stuff. This picture is a close up of his masterpiece. Santa for some reason has a very powerful laser gun in his pouch, and he uses it to shoot this polar bear who was trying to eat Santa's reindeer. The red M&M's are the blood coming from the Polar Bear? He made the comment of Santa is gonna have a warm coat next year!! I am so glad I have at least one girl to hang out with.

Hunter did do a really good job though. Even though it looks like someone barfed Christmas all over.. ;)

Chloee's House....Not bad for her first year doing it on her own eh?

Then we have Rhett. Sweet little Rhett who never breaks any rules, or any household objects for that matter. NOT.....Here he is intent on spreading the icing, using his tongue makes it so it goes on juuuuussssst right.....

Hey, wait....this tastes kind of good!!

Then he turned into the Cookie Monster from hell, and this is what was left of his Gingerbread House......Sigh, I think he watches too much Sesame Street.

Today we celebrated my mom's birthday. Here is Grandma with her birthday cake...

It's been a great couple of weeks, and I am so thankful to have a camera to capture all of these fun memories. I am also thankful again, for all of our amazing friends and family who watch out for us. We are so incredibly blessed.

What a blessing and what a good friend! I love all the new pictures. I love the gingerbread houses. That might be fun to do with my oldest next year. Merry Christmas!

I love those! We have never done gingerbread houses before, but decided a couple weeks back that we were definitely doing them this year. I think I will get the stuff tomorrow for it! Thanks for the pointers on what types of stuff to buy. I heard that graham crackers were easier and see that you used them. Have you ever tried the traditional ginger bread? What are the pros and cons of both of them? Loved all of the houses! They all did great and Rhett is definitely like a cookie monster!

That is such great news about your camera. God really does answer our prayers. Love the pictures of cookie monster.

I haven't done ginger bread houses in forever. Maybe we will try that this year.

That was such an amazing gift. She must be one amazing person!!!

I love all of the pictures, especially the one of Rhett after he got ahold of the icing and cookies. He looks like he is saying "WHAT???, aren't you suppose to eat it, it is food you know."

Well, glad that things are going well.

OMG your cookie monster from hell is killing me! And Hunter's story is too much. :) I'm so glad you got a new camera as there would be so many of us in withdrawal if you didn't. Tell M we all thank her!

Friends are blessings - your pictures always tell the story.

I am with Rhett, eating the gingerbread house is just as much fun as decorating it. Love Deb
