Feelin' Fine.....

Today Rhett is feeling much better. After we got through the hacking up a lung first thing this morning and trying to yack up the mucous that was in the back of his throat it's actually shaped up to be a splendid day.

Rhett was bored while he was getting his afternoon feed so we had a photo shoot.

These are the results....

See, we are out of our jammies today!!

This is my way of procrastinating on cleaning and organizing the house after the Christmas mess. We are having a huge poker night on New Year's Eve, and my house looks like a war zone.

I am ready so ready to take down Christmas. Generally I try to leave it up until New Years, but I just don't see my tree handling another Rhett incident. I can hear it begging for me to put it away back into it's cozy tote, and not to be taken out again until Rhett turns twenty.

I am also super sad that the kids go back to school next week. They have been so good at helping me while Rhett has been sick. It's so nice to have 6 extra hands to help with those nasty diapers, and the suctioning.

But alas.....Life goes on......

It is so nice to see Rhett smiling. I'm so glad he is feeling better. Quick question, do you like the mickey button better? What are the advantages vs the NG tube? You can e-mail me or call me and let me know.

Thanks

Goodness, he looks so grown up in these pics! Glad he's feeling better. No reason to get out of your jammies, though! We've been guilty of having at least one day per weekend lately where we don't change out of them. :-)

Pam and family despite the fact you all have been through the wringer and back, Rhett looks incredibly happy. I am so glad he is starting to feel better.

Does that mean maybe one good night of sleep for the adults. My prayers will continue.

As you my decorating, it was too much energy to get the tree from my storage locker then try to set it up, and take it down. Not this year, I did display 2 of my nativity sets. Next year I will heal better. Love Deb.

He looks great! Look at all the teeth. I too have taken my tree down. I hate to admit it but it was the day after Christmas when it came down this year. Tucker is sick as well, sounds like he and Rhett could have a coughing session. It takes Tucker about 1 hour to cough and hack and get to normal in the morning. We are slowly getting better. Home without going out for 2 weeks and hopefully we will be good to go.
Have a graet New Year!!!

Man oh man! It looks like Rhett and Kaidence were up to the same thing on the same day. I didn't see you up at PCMC. Kaidence finally went home on the 23rd. She looks great but myself on the other hand.....well lets just say I am not feeling so hot myself and my house is a WRECK!!!!!! Glad that he is looking better. Last year I brought new yer in up at the hospital, this year we hope to be home. Maybe it will bring more luck for 2009 if we do!

I wanted to ask... what kind of fun sitter is Rhett in these photos? I have an 18 month old who has some developmental delays. Since Rhett is older and able to fit in a sitter I was wondering if this might work for Sam.... Our son is 18months old and 26lbs. Thanks for any info :)
