Home....

We got to come home but with an IV. We go in to the Dr tomorrow for more zofran through it and a bolus of fluids. We should do this tomorrow and Wednesday, and hopefully after Wednesday they can pull it.

He has a no no board and it's all wrapped up in PINK coban with PURPLE hearts. It's all they had, but Rhett's secure enough with his masculinity that it doesn't bother him any. :)

It's gonna be a long few days BUT I am so happy to be home and so glad that we don't have to spend Christmas in the hospital.

I think my tears of, "Please let me try to do this at home" worked.

His labs were actually pretty darn good all things considered. I have done a good job at keeping him hydrated...<----Pats self on back......

Anyhow, I am glad that I am home because I am not anywhere NEAR being ready for Christmas.

Thanks for the prayers....It's all of them that made it so we could come HOME!!!

HOORAY FOR HOME!!

~Oh, and Amy....we did get a chest xray and he hasn't re-herniated. YAY!! You can quit worrying now. ;)

That's totally my biggest fear too. Those hernias are SUPER scary stuff, and I have an even bigger fear of them since it was that particular surgery that he got that near fatal overdose.....YIPE~~

Awww, I have regular purple coban... But I'm a ways away, although target, walmart, and all of the big pet supply stores etc carry various brands of coban, although if he's cool with the hearts, he's a pretty big man :D!!

Glad to hear you were successful in keeping him hydrated!!

Well you tell him to leave his no-no board alone. Carson was a little sneaky thing when he had his on. He somehow still was able to pull his out. I should see if they have invented a no-no for his NG tube. He pulled it out again tonight....sigh.....

Anyways, call me if you need anything. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers.

So glad you're home! So glad they gave you zofran and an IV too. Once we got established with home health, we were always able to do an IV at home and bypass the hospital completely! It is a God send. Hope he gets better soon Pam...and I hope you have a blessed Christmas.

Welcome home, Pam! Tell Rhett Samantha likes secure men who aren't afraid to wear pink. :-)

Hugs from us, and Merry Christmas!

Glad to hear you guys will be home for Christmas. There should be a rule: no sick kids/individuals allowed in the hospital over Christmas. You have our prayers!
