What I am Thankful For.....

Stephanie over at A is for Aiden has tagged me. The topic is what are you thankful for. This could be a very long post, as I have so much to be thankful for.

Where to begin.....

1. I am so very thankful for my family. If it were not for my husband and children I have no idea that I could get up every morning and face the world.

2. I am thankful for Dakota and what he does for our family. He has helped us learn that it's okay to be different, and sitting on the sidelines and just observing is not a bad thing. It's just how some people roll. He has the sweetest spirit, and would do anything for anyone.

3. I am thankful for Hunter becuase he brings laughter to our family. He is the jokester and always keeps everyone on their toes. He could be Dennis the Menace's twin in every aspect and I absoutley adore that about him.

4. I am thankful for Chloee because she is my little princess. I always wanted a little girl, and she is everything that I ever imagined she would be. I love that we get to go shopping together, that our favorite store is Bath and Body Works, and that we both share the same shoe fetish. She is amazing and the sweetest little girl to ever walk this earth.

5. I am thankful for Rhett because he is our miracle. He has fought so hard to stay on this earth and be a part of our family. He has been knocked down so many times, and his will to keep going just amazes me. He has brought so much joy into our lives, and has taught all of us to love uncondtionally.

6. I am thankful for Andy because everytime he has lost a job this year he has always had a back up plan for some type of side job to keep us afloat. He may be only making 6.00 an hour right now, and we may only have the bare minnimum to pay our bills. But he is doing everything he can to provide for the family, knowing that I have to be home to take care of Rhett. I love him with all of my heart and I am so glad that I found my soul mate.

7. I am thankful that although we lost our home that we had worked so hard to get, that we still were able to find a very nice home to rent in our price range. There are so many people out there who do not have a warm cozy home to live in, we are so blessed that we have ours.

8. I am so thankful that Rhett survived his overdose.

9. I am thankful for all of my friends that we have made on this journey, and for the love and support that we recieve.

Now I am going to tag niksmom over at Flying By the Seat of My Pants, RK over at Just RK, and Jennifer over at Pinwheels , and Marla, mom to the beautiful Maize over at Marla Baltes.

I remember standing in the hall in Primary's NICU with 3 other moms, when Lily was a baby. We were talking about our kids and the other kids in our rooms. I remember that we were all thankful for what our kids were given, because we didn't think we would be able to deal with what another child had. Your children were given to you because Heavenly Father knew that you would be the one that could take care of them through thick and thin. No one else can do for your children what you can do for your children, so stay strong for all your babies! They need you. You get to break down when no one is around, when no one needs a diaper change, a bottle or a school report done by tomorrow! You're an amazing woman and yeah it stinks that our kids go through what they go through, because it tears our heart apart, but they need you. They might not know it when they are in the middle of a melt down, but you know it and that is what matters. Take the strength, thoughts and prayers that others are sending your way and use them. Use them
for yourself and your family.
Sending my strength to you!
Love ,
Suzie
