Wild Thing......

After sleeping for 15 hours straight last night, today Rhett is up and going crazy. He has a bad case of cabin fever, and is ready to be home. He has eaten jello, milkshakes, crackers, and he finally got his cookie. He is also drinking Sprite.

We had to go find him some toys that made noise, and he is loving sitting in his crib saying "Hiiiii!!!!" to everyone that walks by. He has won the hearts of all of the doctors and nurses. His nurse from yesterday came by just to wish him a Happy Thanksgiving.

Word got around in the PICU that he was here, so everyone that took care of him when he was overdosed, has been by to say hi and see him. They all have had the same comment..."He looks so much better than last time I saw him!"

He has a whole new collection of Cookie Monsters and Elmo's and more Elmo's World DVD's. He is one spoiled little boy.

I am so glad that he is doing so well. We truly have so much to be grateful for.

I better get back to his room. Andy is with him right now, and it is taking two of us to hold him down. I don't want him on the floor, and we are still in isolation, so no playroom for us.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and I will leave you with Chloee's new song that she learned in Kindergarten.....(I miss my other kiddos so much!!!!)

This is to the tune of "If You're Happy and You Know It".......

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble
'
Goes the Bird.

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

Goes the Bird.

The Turkey goes Gobble, Gobble,

And his feet go

Wobble, wobble,

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

Goes the Bird.

Happy Thanksgiving! It sounds like we have a lot more to be thankful for! For Rhett feeling so much better. I remember every time Maizie was in the hospital. It is so hard keeping them entertained! I hope you are all doing well and able to get some rest. I added your blog to my side bar of friends blogs. Would you please add mine to yours? Thanks so much!
