Rhett Spoke a Full Sentence!!!!!

Last night I handed him his Elmo Balloon, and he said..."Aye Ike Ahmo!!"

For those of you that don't speak Rhett, it translates into "I Like Elmo!!"

At first I totally thought I was hearing things, and then I said, "What did you just say?" and he said it again. So now everytime he sees Elmo he says it. Boyyyy is his speech therapist going to be proud when she comes next week!!

I'm thrilled for you, Pam, and hopeful that more and more sentences are in Rhett's near future.

That is SO darling! So, I meandered up to your room today and it was empty! The nurses told me that I had missed you by about 30 minutes. I was going to take you to lunch, so I guess we'll just have to have a rain check. I'm so glad that you were able to go home so quickly! You weren't even here a week! Anyway, I wanted to thank you SO much for sitting with me the night of Elaina's surgery. It meant a lot to me that you would take time out from your own little miracle to sit with an anxious mommmy. Even though I had family sitting with me, it was having someone there that had been through it that helped me cope for all those long hours. Thank you so much!
Love,
Hollie (and Elaina!)

How wonderful for you! I have been reading your blog, well I found it the other morning when I was having insomnia and I read every single post from the beginning. I just want to say how much your family, and your story has touched my heart. I too was a teenage mom. Your kids are just beautiful and Rhett is the most precious little man! So congrats to Rhett and his new words!
