So We FINALLY Are On Feeds!!!

The surgeons came in this morning and decided to start feeds. He is getting extra super slow feeds right now. I am praying like crazy that he tolerates it.

They also took him off of Morphine-----Sorry Buddy-----(He was REALLY liking that stuff!!)
He is now on Toradol, and Tylenol. He gets the Toradol every six hours, and Tylenol in between. Which is good, I think he has had some issues with the Morphine making him nauseated.

He has been Naughty this afternoon taking his pulse ox off, and hugging it to him saying "MINE!!"

It's good to see him talking a little. Hopefully as we take the Morphine away he will be more awake and talking a bit more. I am seriously getting really bored. Boring is good, don't get me wrong, but I miss his little Chattery Box self.

I just found your blog. I just wanted to let you know that I will be praying for little Rhett. I hope he does well on the feeds. I am going to add your button to my blog so all of my prayer warriors can send prayers your way as well!

Rhett, please know that you have a lot of people praying for you!

God Bless!

We're to read that Rhett is doing alright. Lily says "Rhett is cute, he's nice, his mom is nice, he's got things on (oxygen), he's got a bandaid on his stomach, he's darling, GET BETTER!"

Yay for feeds! Coming off of the morphine is a step closer to coming home.

Glad to hear Rhett is doing better. I'm sure you will enjoy his company as he perks up a bit. Praying for you always.

My 2 yr old has leukemia and we are at Primary's regularly. Please let me know if there is ever anything we can do. I know how long those days can be. We are coming from Mapleton, so will be glad to bring food, or just stop in and say hi if you want some adult conversation.

PCMC is an awesome hospital, as I'm sure you know. We have been really impressed.

Rhett will continue to be in my prayers.

I forgot to say - please feel free to email me if you just want to talk. I have had a lot of people offer to help, but rarely do I actually contact them and ask them to do something.

Money is tight for us now, between my husband's job and the baby's diagnosis, but if you just want someone to talk to I am good at that. ;-)
