Wow......
So I got the pictures done, and when I started putting stuff out around his TV for a good setting, I realized just how much stuff he got from Signing Time.....26 DVD's, 10 CD's, 3 books, a chore chart, a coloring book, crayons, and autographed picture of Rachel, and one of Alex and Leah, an autographed hat and shirt, 4 sets of flash cards, and a ton of Tatoos......Not to mention his VIP status!!! Hooray!!
I had a hard time taking pictures through the tears. I am so grateful for Rachel's willingness to go above and beyond anything that we could have ever imagined. Every time I think about Rhett's night the lump in my throat is huge, and the tears start to flow. I don't think Rachel and her family and all of the people from Signing Time that took part in this, realize how much they have touched our family. There is just no words to explain how thankful we are.
Even as I type this I am a blubbering fool.
Anyways, this by far isn't the best picture I took, but I am still working on the project that I am doing. Here is a sneek peek at how well our photo shoot went......He wouldn't look at the camera at all......sigh.....
We also don't have the surround sound system set up yet. It's way too complicated for my little ol' mind to figure out!! We'll have to get on Daddy for that one!!
As soon as Make A Wish sends me their pictures that they took I will finish everything up and post the rest!

Rhett did exactly what he was supposed to... watch the video... so I wouldn't worry about the fact that he wasn't looking at the camera. So happy for you guys!

Nick asks me often if we can see his "heart friend from the hospital" on the computer. He loves seeing pics of Rhett.

It touches my heart as well just to think of how great of a night that Rhett had that night. I am so happy for him.
I know you don't know me but have be reading your blog for awhile. I love what signing time did for Rhett and your family.
I wrote to them and thanked them for what they did. I got a very nice note back and they said how happy they were to be part.
This is so awesome. I understand a little bit. I have always said that if I ever got the chance to meet Rachael I would likely be humiliated because I'd start crying. I bet you she gets it alot though. Signing time has changed my life and many many other families as well. I am so happy for your family especially Rhett!
