Riding BareBack....

So is this what they call riding BareBack?

I keep telling you people he is naked all the time. At least he had his shirt still on in this photo. I had left him in the living room just long enough to switch the laundry, and he was fully clothed.

Now......I see all of you coming to my blog....I am getting close to 500 hits a day. Would you leave me a comment pretty please? I am feeling a little depressed about this whole being 30 thing today. Quit stalking and say hello.....

Don't make a grown woman beg now.......I'll even turn on the anonymous comments so that the crazy mean people/PERSON can make me feel even worse..... ;) I'm a big girl today, I can handle it.

Today I am thankful that I have such a wonderful husband by my side. We have some serious fun together.

~~~~~~~~Come'on anonymous, did you REALLY think I would bite on my birthday? ;)
Happy B-day!
I am a random lurker from Oregon, I check every once in a while. I don't think I have ever commented, I can't remember. My son Owen was born in March of 2007 with CDH AND this is the other thing we have in common- my husband used to be a bareback rider (and bulls too) but as far as I know he always wore pants...
Have a great day.
Hi Pam,
Happy-happy-b-day!
Rhett is adorable no matter what he chooses to wear / not wear :)))
I think, it's a stage of his potty traning process. Many kids go through this undressing thing. I know mine did. It will stop. He'll just get bored with it and find something else to amuse you with. Don't worry.
I'm much more worried about dear Chloee.... You were so busy with Rhett's surgeries and everything that you overlooked something important about your darling princess. Something that triggered all this neurological trouble... She is a very mature girl, so brave and patient. I hope you can resolve that fast... Hang in there.
May all your birthday wishes come true!
Praying for your family,
Your reader from CT
Happy Birhday. All my kids loved being naked. My oldest ran outside naked a few times. Abigail takes her clothes off too. Sometimes she wants to chance her clothes.
Happy Birthday Pam!!You're only a few months ahead of me, so you can't feel too bad :).
It's nice to be able to comment to you again, I've had lots to say these last few weeks! (I know I really should just get myself an identity, but then, don't worry, I have my excuses for not doing so). Although I do have to say I was crushed when I learned someone had spoken something so hurtful on a comment, and it meant that I couldn't comment anymore either.
I have so many things to ask!
Did get that new job?!?
Did you ever get a response from your toys r us letter??
Are you ever going to come join us back on MWP again?? :D
I hope the rest of your birthday is as awesome as can be, with no more mean comments. Maybe instead of turning off anonymous comments, you could do comment moderation instead?
I am giggling! I had one son who did the same thing all the time. I finally gave up until we actually had to go somewhere then I put the clothes back on. It, however, was a must that his diaper stay on. I would put them on backwards with extra absorbent pads in front for pee. LOL--He's so cute!
I love the photo! Yes, we need to learn that over here. As much of an annoyance as you may think it is, it's a sign of excellent dexterity. Great job, Rhett!
Happy Birthday! I turned thirty this year too. I had high hopes this milestone would make me a grown-up, but it hasn't worked yet. I lurk on your blog (and pray for your sweet family) nearly every day. I have one son who is eight and a survivor of shaken baby syndrome. He is the center of my world. That is what you and I have in common. We both think our kids are terrific and feel blessed to have them. I really enjoy your blog. Thanks.
Happy Birthday to you, Pam!! Don't be bummed about turning 30! It's just a number!! I turned 30 a few years ago. I thank the Good Lord for every year I get, because when I was diagnosed with PH and congenital heart disease at 9 months old, the doctors didn't give my parents much hope. Anyway, I hope that you have a great birthday!
Love the picture of Rhett!!
Hugs! :)
I personally loved turning 30. My hardest birthday? 28. I love being in my 30's because I feel as though people take me more seriously and I take myself more seriously. My 20's sucked. Divorced, single for 5 years, and I buried a child. I'm glad to be in my 30's.
You will too... just not right now ;)
Thinking of you all lots!!!
P.S. Just wanted you to know we're getting ready to have another poker game, this time for our local angel tree, we have been so inspired by Rhett, and are going to keep the giving going!! So now some little angels will have a wonderful Christmas, and we plan on always keeping the name "Poker for Rhett" no matter who were giving too, so we can tell Rhetts story and how it all began!!
Man, I can't believe I didn't comment ON YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!! I'm so sorry (I did leave some b'day wishes on facebook - does that count???)
Happy birthday, dear lady! You are an inspiration, although knowing you, you will probably deny it vehemently. Honestly, I am amazed at how strong you are, and also love that you are so real with your struggles. Yours is the one blog that I visit more than any other... You are really on my heart constantly, friend, and I ache so much to not be able to do anything much to help you :(
Sometimes, encouraging words - and even promises of faithful prayer - seem pretty lame and useless.
But please know that you are surrounded by a much, much bigger family than you think! You are LOVED :) and oh so precious.
...
And here's to the next 30!!!
God's got a lot of good stuff prepared for you...
Much much love; hugs, prayers etc
