"Cowyboy up".......
Daddy and Rhett decided to "Cowboy Up" for Thanksgiving. Aren't they cute?
Andy was a cowboy when I first met him. Heck, it was his wrangler butt that attracted me to him in the first place. (Lord knows it wasn't his Mullet!!) Okay, I lie, he could even pull that look off.
It was nice to see him all dressed up. He looks hot in Camo.
Rhett was in his duds too. He even wore his cowboy boots, but I didn't quite get a shot of those.
We went out to eat this year with my grandma who has spent the last year in a care center. It was good to see her. I haven't been to see her for a while, as she had an active staph infection for quiet some time, and I didn't want to expose Rhett to it.
It was so good to see her, and talk with her. I miss her a lot. When I was in elementary school she would come and pick me up from the bus, and take me out to McDonald's. It was always the same story, "Let's go eat, but don't tell Grandpa!"
Her and I had a lot of secrets that we kept from Grandpa, but truth be told, I think he knew all of them anyways. ;)
Grandpa passed away in 2003. Since I didn't have a dad, he kind of played that part for me. I sure miss him. I always think about both of them a lot around the holiday's. They both played a huge part in my life.
This is a picture of us with my Grandma....
This is Dakota and my Mom......
And my sister Kristie, who is the second mom to my kids.....
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my family.
On Sunday we are going to celebrate the holiday with Andy's side of the family. So I'm sure there will be plenty more pictures to come.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
I am so thankful that I got to spend it with my Grandma. I want to make as many memories with her that I can.
